DOT DRUG TESTING
How long does a DOT drug test take?
The collection process takes 15-20 minutes. With our mobile service, there's zero travel time for your employee. Results are typically available in 24-48 hours for negative tests.
What drugs are included in a DOT 5-panel test?
The DOT 5-panel tests for: Marijuana (THC), Cocaine, Amphetamines (including methamphetamine), Opiates (including heroin, codeine, morphine), and Phencyclidine (PCP).
How long do DOT drug test results take?
Negative results: 24-48 hours. Positive results: 3-5 days (requires Medical Review Officer review before reporting to employer).
What should employees bring to a drug test?
A valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, state ID, or military ID). That's it!
Can employees eat or drink before a drug test?
Yes, normal eating and drinking is fine. We recommend avoiding excessive water consumption immediately before the test.
DNA PATERNITY TESTING
How accurate is DNA paternity testing?
DNA paternity testing is 99.9%+ accurate when the alleged father is the biological father, and 100% accurate when excluding a non-biological father.
What's the difference between legal and personal DNA testing?
Legal testing ($425) includes strict chain of custody, photo ID verification, witness documentation, and photos - making results admissible in court for child support, custody, or immigration cases.
Personal testing ($275) provides the same accuracy but without legal chain of custody, so results are for peace of mind only and cannot be used in court.
How long do DNA results take?
Results are typically available in 3-5 business days from the date the lab receives the samples.
Is the mother's sample required for paternity testing?
No, the mother's participation is not required. However, including the mother's sample can increase accuracy slightly and is recommended when possible.
GENDER REVEAL TESTING
How early can I take a gender reveal test?
As early as 6 weeks pregnant, though accuracy is highest at 8+ weeks (99%+ accuracy).
How does the gender reveal test work?
It's a simple blood draw that analyzes cell-free fetal DNA in your bloodstream. The test detects the presence (boy) or absence (girl) of Y chromosome markers.
How long until I get gender results?
Results are typically available in 24-72 hours.
What if the results are inconclusive?
Rare, but if tested too early or if there's insufficient fetal DNA, we'll retest at no additional charge once you're past 8 weeks.
FINGERPRINTING
What's the difference between live scan and ink card fingerprinting?
Live scan is electronic capture and submission directly to FBI/DPS/requesting agency - faster processing with higher accuracy. Ink cards are traditional fingerprint cards that you submit yourself to the requesting agency.
How long does fingerprinting take?
10-15 minutes per person.
LOGISTICS
How far in advance do I need to schedule?
We prefer 24-48 hours notice for standard appointments. Same-day service is available for emergencies with a 2-hour minimum notice.
